Capernaum is the tool of the Archdiocese Galveston-Houston that will deliver, manage, and track archdiocesan trainings and formation.
A Capernaum account will allow you to register for available training and formation courses that are offered "on demand online", virtual instructor led trainings, and in person sessions. Courses are also suggested by interest or your personal role at the parish (for example: catechist, liturgical minister, parent, Church staff, etc.)
This virtual learning platform is designed to provide formation to anyone, anywhere, and at any time so that the faithful are engaged in responding to the call to be disciples of Jesus.
To get started please note the appropriate video below and then visit https://www.archgh.org/capernaum
Anyone who has taken a course from any of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Offices (Evangelization & Catechesis, Adolescent Catechesis & Evangelization, Young Adult, Family Life, Liturgy) or the Catholic Schools Office before 2020 already has an account created in the system. If this applies to you, please see the video below entitled "Previous Training" for instructions to obtain your login information.
If you have never taken any courses from the Archdiocese before, please watch the video below entitled "New User" on how to create a new account in the Capernaum software. Please do not create a new account if you have taken any previous courses (FTCM, Catechist Modules, IFCL, Retreat Training, BCYM, etc.) to avoid having a duplicate account in the system.
