If you are feeling overwhelmed by the demands of caring for someone with an illness or disability, you are not alone.
This ministry provides a support group lead by a psychologist (MA, LPC) or a spiritual director from the Center for Stress Management. Caregiving places a high demand on family members or other regular caregivers, even when the care is eagerly and lovingly provided. We believe that if caregivers do engage with other caregivers for ongoing support, information, respite, and education one’s health and well-being will be less at risk.
Please join this support group on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am as we share the caregiving experience, support one another, and develop resources to assist you, the caregiver. We meet in the conference room of the Outreach Center and there is no preregistration.
Or Join Carepartners Common Ground Tele-Conference support group for those caring for a loved one with dementia and stay connected during this time of isolation. Zoom conferences are on Tuesdays at 10 am. Call 713-682-5995 to register.
