Celebrating the Eucharist is at the very heart of our faith. However, because of illness or injury, many of our parishioners cannot join in the celebration. To ensure they stay connected we normally have Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) available to visit the homebound and take Communion to them on a regularly scheduled or temporary basis.
However - in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we must regrettably suspend such visits to the sick until further notice.
Comforting the sick is one of the corporal works of mercy and
our clergy will address requests of the families of the dying on a case by case emergency basis.
