The proximate preparation happens within the faith formation class of our sophomore students. Catholic school students are exempt from this proximate preparation due to their religion class in school. Immediate preparation takes place within faith formation class of our junior students. If you have a senior in high school with no previous faith formation attendance, please email Joey@epiphanycatholic.org.
Immediate Confirmation preparation is for those students who:
Sponsors are faith companions and represent, in a personal way, the witness and support of the parish community. A sponsor must be a practicing, confirmed Catholic and willing to assist the candidate in the preparation. It is helpful to the candidate if the sponsor is someone with whom he/she can relate and have some contact during the preparation and after the celebration. As a sponsor, you should be willing to renew your own spiritual life and share your faith with the candidate. Sponsors are invited participate in conversations with their confirmandi and will receive this information digitally to do on their own schedule.
